Welcome to the Intercultural Readiness Assessment©.
This instrument contains highly researched predictive factors of expatriate success. This assessment assists decision-makers, future expatriate candidates, and trainers in evaluating current intercultural skills in order to avoid risks and costly failed expatriate assignments. The IRA© has proven an inexpensive yet accurate intercultural readiness appraisal.
The instrument converts weighted items into 16 factors. The results present a numerical index (with a convenient 1 to 10 rating), a personalized, textual analysis indicating strengths/weaknesses, and an overall readiness index. Unlike other intercultural candidate assessments, the “submit” prompt returns the IRA© profile immediately and allows you to email results to anyone.
The instrument’s reliabilities (from .64 to .87) and .85 regression coefficient offer a 72% predictive validity, one of the highest published reports. The scale forecasts intercultural performance outcomes for tasks, relationships, and acculturation across U.S. sojourners from the military , business, students study abroad, and missionaries.
Access to the IRA© is obtained through your sponsoring organization or individual contact. There are corporate, non-profit, and researcher fees reasonably offered to use the IRA©, a copyright instrument.
